Cadet black went to the counselors office, he was carrying a painting under his arm. Spike was peeking out of his pocket, he could smell Pilar and started to purr. James rang the chime, and looked around the area.
He has been painting for her daughter, he just hopes she likes it.

Pilar was making herself a cup of Deka tea, something that reminded her that she needed to reach out to Dr. Rahm so they can plan their lunch together, when the chime rang to her office.
“Come in, please!” Pilar said in a high pitched voice as she walked back to her workstation with her hot cup of tea. She had been working to prepare some reports for Starfleet and really wasn’t expecting anyone, but of course she was ready to shift her focus to provide counseling to anyone who showed up at her door unexpectedly.

Pilar was delighted when she saw her visitor was Ensign Black. “No, please come in! Sit,” she sat her tea on her desk. “How is Spike? she asked hoping he had brought the little hedgehog with him.

Then as he revealed the painting, she offered him a beverage, “Can I get you something to drink?”, before she studied the artwork for a moment. To Pilar, it looked like lines of color and it wasn’t the painting she had expected. “Hmmm,” she said as she took it from him and turned it to the left then the right before she asked, “What is it supposed to be?”
