Not long after the ship had docked at Jupiter Station and Henry had returned to his quarters, his computer console beeped with an incoming message.~Mischief Maker
Rodier’s tired eyes drooped yet lower as he heard the distinctive Byop of his personal console. It hadn’t been a particularly work-heavy day for the Lieutenant - mostly menial tasks, namely organizing crew leave. However, in an effort to get through leave requests and contact all his subordinates, he had chosen a quick glass of milk and piece of fruit over a full dinner.
This choice had not left him hungry - it was not an uncommon decision with deadlines constantly approaching. But Henry nonetheless half-trudged over to the console, tapping the proper key to listen to whatever was waiting for him.

The screen shifted, though there was some static before things cleared and a recorded message played automatically. There was a man gazing back at him who looked just like him, but much older. His temples were peppered grey and those same green-brown eyes looked desperate and terribly sad. =/\=Henry, trust your senses. It is who you think it is. I can’t do everything I want to do but I can do this, I can warn you. Don’t dig. Just this once, don’t let your curiosity get the better of you. Leave well enough alone. Avoid Jupiter Station or so many people in the Sol System will die and you will regret it the rest of your life. You can change this. For me, for you, for a lot of people. You’ve been warned.=/\=
The screen went blank.

Henry blinked. Then stumbled backward. Then sat heavily in a nearby chair. Then stood right back up, heart pounding, and tried to access the console, tapping desperately for the voice input. “Computer, what was the origin of that message?” His breathing remained heightened, those greenish eyes seered into his own.
