Aaron sat a little rigidly in the center seat as the Challenger came out of warp and headed towards Jupiter Station. It was far from his first time sitting in the center seat, but it still felt different as the Captain vs being the XO. He would have to try and force himself to relax, before the crew started picking up on his added tension, and thinking that they were at fault.

Giving up he decided to stand up as Jupiter Station appeared on the screen. Hopefully they could get in and get whatever repairs and updates they needed, and get out with minimal difficulties. Give the crew a chance to relax a bit between their adventures.

Reaching back Aaron used the controls on his chair to open a channel to Jupiter Station Ops.

Pilar entered the bridge as the ship docked at Jupiter Station. She went and sat in the chair to the left of the Captain. “Sir. How long to you think we will be docked here?” She wondered if she would have enough time to leave the ship and send the book that Ensign P’Mala had left for her husband off to him.

Halcyone, Counselor

Aaron turned and looked over at Pilar. “Well the resupply should be the rather quick part. But the refit is the bigger question. Engineering, how long are the estimating for the refit?”

Capt Foley - CO

=/\=Acknowledged Challenger. You are cleared for Docking Port Four. Captain Alshoi requests a meeting with your Captain at their earliest convenience, either on the station or your ship. Please send any repair and supply requests to Operations and we’ll get working on it. We have recreational facilities for those crew who wish for downtime.=/\=

“Helm, take us in, docking port 4.”

“The longer we stay, the better it will be”, said Aaron. He was at the science station all along continuing his research from here and was now admiring the view along Foley and Halcyone.

“I still couldn’t identify the substance that made Morton half-disappearing, and Jupiter’s labs would be of big help.” A starbase always has better instruments, and Aaron needed to run some longer and more precise tests than what’s normally done on a starship.
“Not that I undermine your ship’s capacities, Captain…” he added with a smile, looking at Foley.

“Perfect!” Said Pilar as she stood to her feet. “I should have enough time to complete my task and enjoy a little downtime.” She looked at Williams and said, “I hope you will at least consider taking a break as well in-between trying to figure out what the mysterious substance is.”
She placed both hands behind her back, a habit she picked up from her husband and said, “Should either of you need anything, I am just a comm badge tap away.”

Halcyone, Counselor

Aaron chuckled, “We will all be getting some downtime, no exceptions. Lieutenant, just clear any experiments you will want to do with the stations science team. I don’t want to get a report of you getting in their way. And counselor, just make sure that you are back before we leave.”

As the shipped pulled into the docking port, a reassuring thump could be heard through the ship as it made contact and was secured to the docking port. Smiling Aaron reached behind him and hit the button to open a comm channel throughout the ship.

=^=This is the Captain. We’ve just arrived at Jupiter Station for refit and restock. While we are here we’ve been invited to use the facilities. As a reminder, we are guests on this station, and I don’t want to get any reports sent back to my desk from station security. Leave rotations will be managed by each Department Head. XO to the bridge. Now go have fun everyone, that’s an order.=^=
