“Well come right on in and hope up on the biobed. I can always due one more physical before they ship me out. Name is Jonathan Baptiste and I am a doctor, just wrapping up my cadet cruise.” Johnathan said, “So first things first; name? Is there any significant medical history I need to know? Strange and unusual diseases?” Johnathan took up a PaDD and began making notations as he read what the biobed was putting out. “Let me tell you no need to be nervous the permanent crew are great bunch of folk. When I first reported for duty I actually broke my great big toe.” Johnathan could tell the cadet was nervous and was trying his best to calm him down. “So are you in the Science division or the Medical division?”

He responded: “Name is George Haroon, I have a little asthma but it was never bad enough to need any major attention. I’m in science. Congrats on moving up!” Haroon was clearly calming down. “When I got to my first class at the academy, I was only a minute late, but my record never recovered from it. That instructor was something else, always getting on my case about everything. Since then I’ve been scared to be late, and, well, I was late today.”

Johnathan chuckled “Yeah, I had a few hard case instructors at the Academy. So what is your specialty in the sciences? Also, do not worry about being late for this appointment or your next. This one I will not annotate you being late, and for the next I will give you a medical alibi to excuse you. I’ll take the hit.” He smiled and took out a medical tricorder and did a quick exam.
