Aaron quickly answers NE Clean: “Right, I just need to run a quick test on him, and we’ll send it to sickbay. Begin a triage in those who have been in contact with the radiation, and quarantine the worst case. Evacuate the others after a full decontamination process on them and on the whole room, we don’t want to spread the radiation.” Walking toward a suitcase, he opened it and started pulling out an emitter capable to create frequency waves and pulses from all ranges.
“You got it Lieutenant,” NE Clean said as he motioned towards the team stationed at the door. “Clear the room of anyone not actively helping the Ensign. Let’s go!”
While he set up a tripod to mount the emitter, he called Jonathan : “Baptiste, is it ? I need you to put Morton on medical surveillance and tell people to stand back from him. When your done, come see me.” He then continues his business.
Lieutenant JG Aaron Williams - CSO
“Aye, aye sir.” Cadet Baptiste replied and he turned back and went to NE Clean. “Sir, Lieutenant Williams wants a medical surveillance set up on Ensign Morton and to ensure people stand back from him. He is capable at the moment of catching a hypo and adminstering it to himself as needed.” With that he turned and went back to Lieutenant Williams. “How else may I be of assistance, sir? I informed NE Clean to set up the medical surveillance and to keep people back.”

OOC: I started a Science Lab thread. :)
IC:
Meanwhile, Brin had moved herself from the crate, still a bit dazed, and she rejoined the others. She looked over Morton and bit her lower lip. “I’m sorry, Sir,” she said quietly.Albert gave Hedley a wan smile. “Hey, not the first time I played a game that got out of hand. At least I’ll have a good story to tell, right?”
She wanted to smile, and tried, but it was feeble.
“If this is a subspace bubble,” Morton mused. “How do we force the rest of my body back into our space?”
~Mischief Maker
Hearing Morton’s question, Aaron answered to him: “Well, I don’t really know how to, but I’ll try some things on you, at least to get a reaction. First, we’ll try to produce some particles and frequencies on your body, and then we’ll try to use some tachyon particles. That usually works quite well on dimensional problems.” More than an actual answer, Aaron wanted to provide a mental distraction to Morton so he doesn’t panic about his own situation. Making him participate in the search for a solution will reduce his stress and help him to better focus.(OOC : Thanks for making the lab thread! I totally forget to do it)
Lieutenant JG Aaron Williams - CSO
OOC: Sorry guys I messed up the thread by replying from the wrong thread! Ignore the post that is off the thread, reposting here. Been three years .....
IC: Pilar arrived in the cargo bay and quickly assessed the situation. Ensign Morton’s situation alarmed her, but she had learned from her husband not to display extreme and unnecessary emotions, but instead focus on the job. She approached Lieutenant Williams and said, “Lieutenant, do we know if Ensign Morton’s situation is reversible? If not, I think it’s best and would like to prepare him for the outcome. If it is, I would not want to upset him as it may worsen the situation.”
Pilar Halcyone, Counselor
NE Clean sighed, what was it with counselor’s sticking their heads in when they were just going to cause problems.
“Ma’am,” he said walking up. “I need you to follow the decomm team and leave this area immediately. We need to clear all excess personnel as we try to contain the radiation leak. We’ll have the Ensign out of here in no time.”
NE Clean
Pilar scoffed and turned away from NE Clean. She took a couple of deep breaths. After a few seconds of mindful breathing, she whispered “Okay.” to herself then turned and looked him in the eye. “I have a few issues here. The first is that I wasn’t speaking to you but here you are speaking to me. The second issue is that I am sure I do not take orders from you, but hold on and let me check,” she looked at her PADD, did a couple of finger scrolls, and looked back at him, “Ah…just as I suspected, nope I do not. Finally, I have a job to do and more importantly a crew member who may need my help or at the least need me to reach out to his family just in case…so I will not be leaving until I have fully assessed his mental state and until I get a status on his situation. If he doesn’t want me here, then I will leave only because I have offered my help and my job is done. Don’t make this harder than it must be. Do you understand, Mr. Clean”
Halcyone, Counselor
NE Clean sighed, why was it that the higher the ranked officers never bothered to actually care about their own safety, or follow the signs. “Actually Ma’am. As the officer in charge of the decontamination effort here, I do have full authority over this entire area, no matter rank. But we are in the middle of dealing with an unknown contaminate, and the crew member that ‘you are trying to help’ is still at the center of an incident we don’t fully understand. But it’s your life Commander. So your objection is officially noted, along with a note that you have refused a request to evacuate the area for your own safety. Just in case something were to happen, because as you said ‘I have a job to do’.”
Without waiting Clean pivoted and headed over towards one of the teams setting up containment shields. “Make sure the area is secure!” he yelled.
OOC: Welcome to the ship! :-D
NE Clean
OOC: Glad to be here :)
“I wish my husband had taught me the Vulcan death grip. I would lay him out, right here!” Pilar thought to herself.
Pilar yelled after him, “You have no authority over me, Ensign! I am a trained high-ranking officer. I didn’t get here by remaining in spaces on the ship that is “safe” and avoiding danger. I go where I am needed. So, as you were, Ensign.”
“Can someone, besides Mr. Clean, give me a status on Morton’s situation?”
Morton seemed to have another wave of dizziness and this time squeezed his eyes shut. When he reopened them he looked dazed. “So, yeah, how do we force my body back into this space?” He frowned. “Or did I ask that already? I can’t remember.”

As Cadet Baptiste was returning back from delivering the message to NE Clean he overheard Ensign Morton statement, with concern he asked Ensign Morton “How are you feeling sir? Is the medication helping any?” He then turned to Lieutenant Commander Halcyone and a whisper “Ma’am, can you stay nearby and speak with Ensign Morton, keep his mind focused. I am concerned the medications are no longer going to be effective. Also how familiar are you with a medical tricorder? I need you to scan him about every five minutes and report any significant changes, if NE Clean ask, tell him you are medical surveillance back up.” Johnathan said with a smile. He then returned to Lieutenant Williams.

Pilar smiled at the doctor, nodded, and pulled her own tricorder out of the crossbody bag she had with her. Ensign Clean was out of line and she would figure out what to do with him later. The most important task she needed to focus on was to assess Ensign Morton and try to get him through his current situation.
