As the scientists began to investigate the odd phenomenon, the pieces would start to form a natural conclusion: based on the radiation and the fact that Morton was not physically present from the waist down, it was likely he was stuck in a pocket universe. It was bending space and time and expanding. In fact, those looking at Morton might swear there was a little bit less of them visible than a when he had been first trapped.

“At least I can’t feel anything,” Morton joked.

“Uh sirs,” said Cadet Baptiste in a low whisper to Lieutenant Williams and NE Clean, so as not to upset Ensign Morton “I believe Ensign Morton is getting worse in his disappearance performance, and I swear I just seen the deck disappear for a moment. I think we really need to start deciding how best to fix this problem.”

-Cadet Johnathan Baptiste, medical

Aaron nodded while thinking of a solution: “True, I’m working on it. But you can still give him this injection, we don’t know what could happen if his former meal tried to cross another dimension just to get back here”

Cadet Baptiste nodded his acknowledgement of his order. With a smile he turned toward Ensign Morton “Good news sir, I can give you the hypo with the Meclizine.” With that Cadet Baptiste, asked Ensign Morton “Ready to catch the hypo?” he then gentle tossed it to him. “Just like last time sir, inject the hypo into any area you can and toss it back.” Johnathan said with a smile and reassuring voice. “It should help with the vertigo and nausea.”

-Cadet Johnathan Baptiste, medical

Morton managed to focus and nod, holding his one free arm out again. “Ready.” Catching the hypo, Morton injected himself and tossed the hypo back.

P’Mala’s head still ached. She’d been standing to the side, watching and listening. Cadet Baptiste was talking quietly nearer to Morton with NE Clean and Lieutenant Williams.

Brin Hadley had been looking at the bottles. But why? Cautiously walking toward the crate, P’Mala thought it seemed like one of the bottles still had something in it–she’d not noticed this with all the earlier excitement.

“Lieutenant!” she shouted. “We need a science officer over here as soon as you can spare the time. We need to study this evidence as soon as we can! It might give us a way to reverse whatever is going on over there!”

-Cadet P’Mala Dawes

Aaron turns around to face P’Mala and walked toward her. He noticed the crates next to her and his content. He turned around and called NE Stevens, who was right behind him : “The bottle might have triggered the tachyon particles emission. Take a sample of it and go to the lab, make a full spectrogram analysis and test it with a pulse of tachyon particles on it.” The NE nodded, took the bottle, and proceed to extract the content of the bottle with one of the sampler. While he do that, Aaron turned toward P’Mala and asked : “Could you go with him? It would be best if he have your opinion as a doctor.”

Back to Johnathan, he says : “When you’re done with your injection, come give me a hand.” NE Stevens was done with the extraction, and was waiting for P’Mala.

“Shall we?” P’Mala asked NE Stevens. “Maybe we can learn something useful. You lead the way.

OoC: If you’d like to start a new lab thread, I’ll follow behind! :)

NE Stevens smile at her. “Let’s go”, he says walking toward the exit, where P’mala goes through a full decontamination process before they continue to the lab.

(OOC : To the secret lab !)

Upon hearing Lieutenant Williams calling him over, Jonathan turned to Ensign Morton “Try and relax sir, we are working on a solution to get you back whole again. I am going over to assist the Lieutenant, if you need anything just give a yell.” With that Johnathan walked over to where Lieutenant Williams was. “How may I assist you sir?” he inquired.

-Cadet Johnathan Baptiste, medical

NE Clean had backed away as Lt Williams had come in, to check on the members of his team.

“Lieutenant, we are working on getting containment fields in place to stop the spread of the radiation. And we have a stretcher standing by to move Ensign Morton to sickbay when everything is ready.”

NE Clean

~Mischief Maker

Aaron quickly answers NE Clean: “Right, I just need to run a quick test on him, and we’ll send it to sickbay. Begin a triage in those who have been in contact with the radiation, and quarantine the worst case. Evacuate the others after a full decontamination process on them and on the whole room, we don’t want to spread the radiation.” Walking toward a suitcase, he opened it and started pulling out an emitter capable to create frequency waves and pulses from all ranges.

While he set up a tripod to mount the emitter, he called Jonathan : “Baptiste, is it ? I need you to put Morton on medical surveillance and tell people to stand back from him. When your done, come see me.” He then continues his business.
