Lex would have loved to say he was completely ready for this. Having accidentally walked into engineering instead of sickbay he back tracked and found his was finally to sickbay. His blue eyes looking around a bright grin formed on his face. This was his first ship, and hopefully he’d make a good impression. Walking up to his department head he holds out his orders. “Cadet O’Hara reporting for duty.” He waits a tic and remembers. “Sir.” He rubs the back of his head awkwardly.

A large human man walked forward wearing the blue uniform of the Medical section and Lieutenant Commander pips on his collar. “Dr. O’Hara, I take it?” he said, his Scottish brogue lending an odd cadence to his words. “Lt. Cmdr. Royal Sinclair. I’m the acting CMO until we our permanent staff arrives. I’m the ship’s Counselor in real life.” he said with a wink. “Please come in, won’t you?” and he gestured to the office behind him and walked inside.
