Hey everyone

With a few positions moving around in the Fleets we have had a bit of a change on the Challenger. Lindsay has joined the crew as our new GM, and for you Cadets you’re going to be in for a treat.

Linds is a fantastic writer and GM and isn’t called Busybeaver on discord without reason!

Our newest Sim is just about to start, so please welcome me in saying hi to Lindsay. Feel free to introduce yourself and your character, the more that Linds knows about them the more she has to work with for you.

OOC: Hi, Lindsay! I’m Shaun–big Trek fan who likes to write. I work in education and do a lot of copyediting and enjoy the collab, creative outlet of RP.

My character is P’Mala Dawes, a half-Vulcan who grew up with writer/ethnographic parents and moved to Kentucky with her Appalachian grandparents to attend medical school, then made the jump to Starfleet. The character is kinda constantly sorting through and monitoring their emotional responses and is trying to find a sense of balance and community while being kind of a loner. I’m interested in how their interests in xenobiology, medicine, and ethnographic/religious studies will come into use somehow.

Welcome to the Challenger and the Academy, Linds! I’m Gavin, a STEM college student, and I play Henry Rodier, the ship’s Chief of Security. Henry’s bio has a full description of him, apart from the plans I have down the line ;). But a short description: born in Connecticut, lived there for the first part of his life before moving to California to prepare for Starfleet. Specialized in strategic command in the Academy and was promoted directly to Lieutenant Junior Grade (and CoS) upon graduation. Specializes in strategic timing, intuition, and defensive fighting. Weak in the “technological use” department.
