After arriving off a shuttle, Eoin O’Rourke carries his bag onto his new home of the USS Challenger. The new Cadet of the vessel walks around the shuttlebay for a few moments, in awe for how it looks. He gets behind his fellow cadets and chases after them. Unfortunately getting lost as the cadets made their way to their destinations, Cadet O’Rourke started looking around and bumping into other crew members of the ship. Eoin looked around until stopping in front of a crewman “Hey ‘xcuse me laddy, I’m new on board, coulda point me in the direction of the Cadet Crew Quarters?” The crewman told Eoin to continue down the hall. Eventually Eoin found the turbolift and entered it. “Cadet Quarters please.” The turbolift moved quick and right after Eoin had put his bags down to stretch, the lift’s doors opened. He quickly grabbed his bags again and made his way to the quarters. The quarters room itself was fairly compact, could fit roughly six people in the room at one time. The room was not small though, and enough people could move around to their own little things if needed. There were bunk beds and a dimly lit light in the corner to show off the rather medium feeling room. It seemed that there was many for Eoin to choose. Eventually he picked a top bed and put his bags on top of it.

In Chief of Security Office.

Nijix hadn’t had much time to set up her office. If she had her choice, things would’ve reflected her personality and been a bit more appealing to the eye. People tend to feel more relaxed when the place felt more ‘worked’ in than hastily put together. At best, Nijix had managed to put together a few scattered and small plants to break up the monotone color scheme. To add to the homely look, she had a small travel sized portrait of her whole family. Their smiles brought a warmth into her heart each time she glanced at it.

She fully intended to do more with after she had finished up her work here.

All over her desk were several PADDs. Each one was opened to numerous files, most happened to be on her cadet officers. She had went through the whole day scheduled a meeting to introduced herself and creating their duty schedules, ready to assign each one their own. Right now, she was waiting on Cadet O’Rourke to walk through that door. Pretending to be busy, she continued to shuffle through the already finished work until the young man arrived.

Eoin heard the announcement and looked at his watch that read 14:50. He shrugged at first and thought nothing of it as he started to unzip his belongings. Then it dawned on the Cadet that he had to hurry and be dressed for the Chief of Security. He hastily searched for his Cadet uniform and found it. He quickly got himself dressed but could not find his StarFleet badge. Eoin almost made a mess but felt that he has to go on without it. He rushed out of the room but didn’t have a clue where the Chief of Security Office is. He ran to a turbolift again to find a little map to see where. On Deck 7.

On Deck 7 Eoin ran in the hallway and finally found the Security office and walked into the room and took one step forward into the office as the office desk was not that far from the door. The room was more lively than the Crew Quarters. Eoin stood at attention. “Cadet Eoin O’Rourke reporting for duty sir.”
