OOC: Editing to fit the Captain and CMO arriving via shuttle - timing might be an issue but I’ll work with the GM/Capt. on that if need be.

NE Kyos arrived at the Challenger’s Shuttle Bay within a few minutes of being sent off by Chief Rodier. NCs Jills and Pin followed a few steps behind their commanding officer, having been called up from their posts near the Bridge mere moments before. The security team paused at the door, making sure that the Bay was still intact enough to enter, and then proceeded in. Kyos had more than a touch of uncertainty in her step, but was at least knowledgeable enough to know to grab one of the medpacks left in each security waystation. She only hoped that her first meeting with the ship’s newly-minted (well, sort of) Captain and CMO would be on fairly good terms.

Rodiers badge chirped just after he arrived, =/\= Be advised the incoming shuttle has damage and may be leaking plasma, advise containment protocol to the hangar bay and extinguishers. =/\=

Kyos’s badge came to life as her team entered the Bay. =^= Rodier to Kyos, use caution, shuttle may be leaking contaminants. =^= Kyos hesitated once more. “Jills, grab the emergency containment suits. Pin, get the claws ready, we might need to pry them outta there.” As the two went about carrying out their orders, Kyos waited patiently, watching the shuttle slowly become larger, its figure bathed in a light blue light.

As they watched, the shuttle seemed to lurch slightly as if something had happened with their thrusters or power systems. The pilot righted it, but seconds later the shuttle visibly shut down it’s power as the running lights and thrusters cut out. Either the power system had failed, or the crew had cut power due to excessive damage.
