The turbolift doors hissed open to a still pressurized area of deck eight and Kalos quickly met NE Tender at the docking hatch airlock.
=^=Onovren to Stadi, I have arrived on deck 8 with NE Tender, we are ready to cut main power and we are suiting up for our walk.=^=
After hearing his EV suit’s helmet latch Kalos turned to Tender, “you ready?”

OOC: Is it My responsibility to write the scene with the NE or do I wait for the GM to do that?

OOC: Typically we let the person who made the NE take control of them, and in this case the GM will probably use him to guide what you encounter (ex: NE Tender will probably do a scan and tell you what needs fixing, etc..). Feel free to RP with him or write about coming up on the scene, but the GM will fill in the blanks for you of what encounter.

OOC: Yep typical etiquette with NE’s is that you don’t take over someone else’s NE (especially named NE’s), unless it’s directly stated that you can etc. Of course with an NE that is just ‘Science NE’ or ‘Ops NE’ they are usually able to be used any time, you’ll get the feel for it. With our GM away for a few more days on LOA as he is ill you can post about what your character starts to do, and in this specific situation one of the Command team can take over that NE to keep the sim going (like I am about to).

IC: “As ready as I’ll ever be,” Tender replied, triple checking his own suit and making sure the oxygen meter was in the green. Bouncing lightly in the mag boots he was wearing, he nodded to the door. “After you?” Moving to the control on the wall, Tender prepared to open it and expose the both of them to the vacuum of space at Kalos’ word.
