IC:
=^= Attention all Medical and Security personnel: triage protocol. Form two-person teams and evacuate all injured crew to Sickbay. Do not treat anyone on-site unless absolutely necessary. Use transporters as necessary. =^=~ Lt. jr. gr. Rodier - CoS (crosspost from Bridge)
OOC: Thanks for the heads-up! :D
Javal acknowledged the timely set of instructions given by the Challenger’s security chief. Judging that Rodier was giving the orders from the bridge, the doctor figured that this collision had somehow evaded the ship’s sensors and thus taken the crew unawares. But what could have penetrated the ship’s deflector array?
Pulling up to a nearby wall console, Javal issued his query.
“Computer, status report.”
“Hull breach detected on Deck 8. Casualties reported on Decks 7, 8, and 9,” the console chirped in reply.
“Has there been any significant damage to the life support systems?” Javal replied quickly.
OOC: I’ll give an opening here for the GM to reply if anything happened to the life support in the aftermath of the collision.

“Affirmative,” the computer responded. “Life support systems damaged on Decks 7, 8, and 9. Life support off line on Deck 7 aft sections. Gravity failing on Deck 9”
The doctor’s facial expression tightened ever so slightly when he heard the bad news. Since the impact was unanticipated, then the crew on Deck 7 would not have had any time to evacuate…
About that time a call came in: =/\= NE Storme to Javal. Doctor, can you make it to Sick Bay? They are starting to come in hot and fast, sir.=/\=
GM Wombat
=/\= “Acknowledged NE Storme, I am underway.” =/\=
With the artificial gravity failing him (once again), Javal was quick this time to locate an emergency panel containing a set of mag-boots. Strapping them on made him think back on his zero-gravity physical exam he had attempted to perform only a few days ago. It seemed that, perhaps, by the end of his training cruise, he would be able to speak on his extensive experience under such conditions.
With his feet secured to the bulkhead below him, the doctor made for the nearest turbolift, as he suspected that the damage from the collision may have made the risks of site-to-site transport too high.
