(OOC: I am not sure how to get involved in the main sim, I am nearly done with my checkins and dont know what to do next. Thanks for the help.)

OOC: The sim’s just getting started - your DH should be getting you involved in the main sim as soon as possible. In the mean time, I’d suggest trying to make a side-sim, which you can have taking place just before the main sim so it doesn’t interfere with it. Side sims can be personal (e.g., a training log) or looking to interact with other people (e.g., lunch in the mess hall or a run in the gym). You’re welcome to start one yourself, or I can get one going if you don’t feel ready for that. Hope this helps!

OOC: Thanks for the help, will my DH get in touch with me through email or in STF itself. Also can a side sim be related to Kalos’s work in engineering or should it be separate. and can you explain what you mean by “Training log.” If you have something in mind for a side sim I will gladly participate.

OOC: Your DH will probably call for you in a thread marked Main Sim, so keep an eye on those! If you’re not in our Discord, I’d suggest hopping in there too. And sorry, training logs are a little easier to do as a Security officer, which is what I’m used to haha. You can do a side-sim about his work in engineering or something completely different, like a holodeck simulation, a gym trip, a nightly diary, etc. - totally up to you. I can come up with something if you want, but you’re more than welcome to just shoot for whatever you want!

For this main sim, you can also just be at the engineering station on the bridge.
