Javal hit his communicator in reply.

=^= “Understood Captain. Best of luck to you.”=^=

Javal turned around to face Data.

“Lieutenant Commander, I need you to disable the Romulan vessels shields just long enough for our boarding party to effect entry.”

“Understood, sir,” Data replied. Tapping the console at the science station, the Enterprise signaled a distortion field that began to disrupt the Romulan vessel’s shields.

“Mr Worf fire.”

=^= “The window for boarding the enemy vessel has opened, Captain. Now is the time to beam over.” =^= Javal said to Kleine over his combadge.

‘Engergize.’ Jordy said looking at the transporter chief.

The away team beams aboard the romulan ship, Jordy taps on his commbadge. =^=Kleine to Enterprise we are on the romulan vessel engage warp.=^=

Jordy signals the away team to follow him, he grabs his phaser and sets it to stun. ‘Set phaser to stun.’ He orderd the away team.

Jordy goes with the away team to the romulan bridge trying to find the ambasador.

The enterprise warps to vulcan at maximun warp.

All the romulan ships are going into warp to with vulcan as destenation.

The away team enters the bridge shooting the security officers there 2 officers got shot by a romulan disrupter set to kill, the rest aims there phasers at the romulan captain the ambassador is on the bridge.

‘Release the ambassador and let us take control of your ship!’ Jordy said to the romulan captain.

The Romulan captain peered at Captain Kleine and gave a villainous sneer.

“That was a clever trick you pulled, Captain. Disrupting the frequency of our shields and then distracting the bridge with your phaser fire while you beamed aboard. However, it seems you are in the belly of the beast now. How do you think you will be able to escape with the Ambassador alive, while my entire crew at the first sign of trouble will immediately rush to our aid as soon as they suspect that the bridge has fallen?”

‘By doing this!’ Jordy said.

Jordy graps the romulan captain and aim his phaser on the romulans head.

Cadet ‘Captain’ Jordy Kleine - Security

“Nice work, Captain!” one of the security officers of the Enterprise said. With his phaser out, he inched toward the Romulan captain and disarmed him.

“I got this one, sir,” the officer said, pointing his phaser at the Romulan captain and taking him hostage.

“Mark my words, you will not get away with this! The other ships in our fleet will soon realize what you’ve done here, and they will ensure you do not get out of here alive!” the Romulan captain said angrily.

While the security officer kept his phaser pointed at the captain, the other six Romulans in the room stood at a stand-off with the boarding party. They still had their disruptors in hand, but were afraid to make a move in case their captain was injured. Any one of them could potentially sound the alarm to the rest of the ship at any time, whether it be by their personal communicators or by hitting an alarm on a nearby bridge console. Something would need to be done to break this stand-off before the situation gets worse.

Jordy changes his phaser to the maximum setting and aims it on the romulan captain.

‘Surrender and drop your weapons!’ Jordy said to the other romulans.

The tension in the room was high, enough for some of the Romulans to start to lower their weapons. One of the Romulans, a Subcommander near the helm of the ship, kept his disruptor aimed right at Kleine.

“Keep your weapons up!” he yelled to the other Romulans in the room. “This is a bluff. He knows that if he kills our Captain, his only bargaining chip will be removed.”

The romulan ship goes out of warp arriving at vulcan the enterprise is there also.

As the ship came out of warp, the Subcommander spun around momentarily to check the view screen, and to his shock he found himself staring at the Enterprise.

“Qazh!” the Romulan swore.

Jordy wallks to the ambassador.

At this moment the Subcommander returned his gaze to Kleine, who had by now made his way to Spock.

Jordy tapps on his commbadge=^=Kleine to enterprise beam all the commbadges up over 10 seconds.=^=

“No! Stop him!” the Subcommander shouted, charging at him. But it was too late.

Jordy takes his commbadge and puts it on the ambassador.

The ambassador and the away team are being beamed up except Jordy.

“It’s too late, Subcommander,” the Romulan Captain said, gesturing to his lackey to halt where he was.

“But no matter. You might have succeeded with getting your Ambassador off of my ship, but now you are all alone, and have no way of getting off of this ship…” he said to Kleine menacingly. As he said this, all six Romulans in the room converged around Kleine, their disruptors trained on him.

“Do the reasonable thing and surrender now. And while you do that, I’m going to make a quick call to the other vessels in the fleet to come and collect the Ambassador once again.”

An entire romulan fleet warp into vulcan.

Jordy drops his phaser. ‘I surrender.’ He says

“Very good,” the Romulan Captain said with an evil smile. “Subcommander, please escort the Captain here to the brig immediately.”

“With pleasure, Captain,” the Subcommander replied, placing his hand forcefully on Jordy’s collar and pointing his disruptor at his back. He led him into the turbolift and he sent it off to the brig.

At the same time this was occurring, the boarding party along with the Ambassador re-materialized inside the Enterprise’s transporter room. One of the security officers signaled XO Javal via his commbadge.

=^= “Commander, this is Ensign Jenkins. We have successfully recovered the Ambassador. However, Captain Kleine had to give up his communicator in order for the Ambassador to get here. He’s likely been taken prisoner, sir.” =^=

Javal, at his post on the bridge as acting captain, answered the communique as he stared contemplatively at the approaching Romulan vessels.

=^= “Understood, Ensign. Keep the Ambassador under close guard in his quarters. Javal out.” =^=

While at this moment, the Enterprise was outnumbered by the Romulan warbirds, they were no longer in their own turf, so to speak. If I can stall the Romulans for a bit more time, the Federation defensive fleet near Vulcan will be able to respond he thought to himself.

“Lieutenant,” he said, gesturing towards the comm officer. “Open a hailing frequency with the lead Romulan vessel. At the same time, I want you to send an encrypted message to Starfleet Command, requesting immediate aid at our coordinates. If we can keep the Romulans at bay for a few minutes, the Federation fleet will be able to overwhelm them with sheer combined firepower.”

Also, if I know the Captain, it should buy him enough time to attempt an escape via shuttlepod or transporter.

The federation fleet is on its way to vulcan.

Jordy makes a quick turn grabbing the disrupter and pointing it at the subcommander.

‘We are going on a detour to the transporter.’ Jordy said.

“What do you think you’re doing, veruul?” the Subcommander grumbled as he put up his hands.

Jordy changes the heading of the turbolift to the transporterdeck,and grapps the subcommander’s comunicator.

The Subcommander laughed as he saw where Kleine had re-directed the turbolift.

“You can’t possibly think you can sneak out of here alone, can you?” he said, threateningly.

At that, the doors swung open onto the transporter room deck. A Romulan engineer, seemingly unarmed by the look of him, greeted them on the other side of the door. He stood there a moment, but didn’t immediately notice Kleine beside the tall imposing figure of the Subcommander.

“Subcommander Vikar, is everything alright?” the engineer asked, noticing the Subcommander’s troubled expression.

Jordy whispers. ‘Send him away before i kill you and him.

Cadet ‘Captain’ Jordy Kleine - Security

Feeling his disruptor being run up against his back, the Subcommander had no choice but to give in to Kleine’s demands.

“Yes, everything is quite alright, Uhlan,” he said. “However, I just received an urgent order from the Captain. You’re needed to repair the EPS conduit on this deck immediately. It may have received damage in the Federation attack.”

“Are you sure about that, sir? I just checked that conduit just moments after the attack and it appeared intact,” the engineer replied, quizzically.

“Don’t question the Captain’s orders, Uhlan! Do it again!” the Subcommander snapped, desperate to get the gun out of his back.

“V-very well, Subcommander! I’ll see to it at once!” the engineer replied. He turned right around and broke off in the other direction.

The Subcommander turned his head over at Kleine and whispered, “Whatever you’re doing, it won’t work. You’ll get spotted soon enough.”

As Jordy was making his escape, Javal received a reply from his hailing request to the Romulan Captain.

=^= “This is Captain Vrujin of the Chaltok. Have you come to beg for your Captain’s life, Commander?” =^= the overconfident Romulan captain jeered.

“Not precisely, Captain. I am hailing you with a cease-fire proposal. If you and your fleet stand down, I am willing to drop the Enterprise’s shields so that you may be able to collect Ambassador Spock. However, I must ask that in exchange you provide us with Captain Kleine.”

With the shields down on the Enterprise temporarily, Javal gambled that Jordy would be able to use the Romulan transporter in time to beam aboard the ship ahead of the Romulan boarding party. The Romulans would likely not keep up their end of the bargain and keep their shields up, but with the approach of the Federation fleet in a few minutes’ time, it wouldn’t matter anyway.

In a predictable manner, the Romulan captain soon replied. =^= “Very well, Commander. Drop your shields and power down your weapons. We shall be aboard shortly. In the meantime, I will inform your dear Captain to get ready for his reunion with his crew aboard a shuttlecraft.” =^=

‘Captain the federation captain is not in the brig.’ A romulan officer said.

‘The romulan captain screams. ‘How!’ =^=This is the captain speaking the federation captain is on the loose find him.=^=

Jordy moves his way forward to the transporter.

Drawing nearer to the transporter room, the Romulan engineer who had just been sent away heard the message, and, thinking on the Subcommander’s strange behavior, made a thought to check on him once again.

As he approached, he noticed a man with a disruptor escorting the Subcommander into the transporter room.

=^= “This is Uhlan Damiut! I spotted an intruder entering Transporter Room Two!” =^= he yelled into his communicator.

Hoping to take Kleine by surprise, the Subcommander whipped around and tried to grab his disruptor out his hands.
