At the appointed time the Challenger dropped out of warp and under impulse proceeded towards the science station and the rendezvous with the commander there, intent on delivering the cargo.

Turning back over his shoulder, the helm officer announces to the watch officer, “Sir. We have arrived.”

Gordon, who had the watch, looked up from a report that he was reading.

“Thank you. Standard orbit helm.” He ordered, looking down at his computer station. He sent a message to the Captain and XO, indicating their arrival. He stood up and hobbled towards the view screen. “Open a channel.”

Starr had been told about the mysterious box that they had been told to deliver. He wasn’t a big fan of surprises, but as it was something that was connected to star fleet, he couldn’t see any danger with it. He continued looking at the tactical station. The trip so far had been a peaceful one and it was now almost over.
