Having finished checking in with the Captain, Aaron made his way down to sickbay. Even though he only had his annual physical a month ago, this was just one of the necessities of being assigned to a ship. Hopefully being back out in space would give him a chance to continue his research at least.

Stepping into sickbay, he looked around. “Excuse me, I’m looking for one of the doctors.”

(OOC: welcome aboard! I’m the only medic character at the moment, so I’m afraid you’re stuck with me!)

Miya was in Lieutenant O’Connell’s office - no, her office, she had to get used to that! - when one of the NEs peered round the open door and informed her that a Commander was in sickbay asking for a doctor. She hurried into the main sickbay to see an older man, much taller than she was - she didn’t need to spot his rank pins to know this was the Commander the ensign had mentioned. Miya gave him a smart salute.

“Lieutenant Junior Grade Ven Miya, sir. You wanted to see a doctor? I’m the chief medical officer - how can I help you?”

“Ah, nice to meet you Lieutenant. Commander Foley, I’m the new Executive Officer. I figured I’d take the opportunity to stop by and get the formalities taken care of. But as you our the Chief Medical Officer, also get to know you a bit, and see if you need anything from me.”
