OOC: Little things, sure. But with this little mystery side-sim it’s better for you to say what you’re doing, looking for, stuff like that, and then be told what happens. If you want to make a side-sim yourself, then you can decide anything that happens involving your character!

IC:
Jordy entered into a dimly lit room with a biobed in one corner. One wall panel was pulled out, and some sort of small tunnel had been dug through the wiring. Another tuft of fur was visible caught on one of the wires. There was a door next to the broken panel, slightly ajar.

Henry almost tripped over a table laying across the floor of the hallway he had entered, but continued on, rounding another corner.

He looked at the small tunnel, when he sees the door he goes through it.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

Going through the door, Jordy came upon another, much smaller room, most likely a maintenance closet. A bundle of something furry was perched atop a shelf, and behind it was another pulled-out wall panel and tunnel of wiring.

Henry slowed, entering a room. It was similar in size to his quarters, and indeed shared many of the same furnishings. An ambassador’s suite, most likely. Curious, but not nearly as curious as the door on one wall being held open by some unseen object.

Jordy looked aroud he room and saw another tunnel of wiring on a shelf. ‘What is this.’ He also sees a bundle of something furry in front of the tunnel. =^=Cadet Kleine to Lieutenant Junior Grade Rodier im seeing a tunnel of wiring i also saw it in an another room and i see a bundle of something furry in front of the tunnel of wiring have you seen something like this to?=^=

As Jordy spoke, the bundle of fur seemed to rise slightly off the shelf and crawl into the tunnel, disappearing. =^= Rodier to Kleine, I’m not seeing any tunnels but I do have one of those bundles here. It seems to be some sort of organism. Try to find where they’re coming from. =^=

Upon closer inspection, Jordy would find two maintenance tunnels entering into the room: one to the left of the shelf, and one on the wall next to the door.

Henry looked down at the ball of fluff blocking the door and smiled. He’d have to remember to give those cadets from Engineering a good word.

=^= Kleine to Rodier it crawled into the tunnel.=^= Jordy went through the maintenance tunnel left of the shelf and enterd the room.

The room Jordy came into had little in the way of identifiable markings. Mainly because it was completely covered in loose wires and tufts of fur, with only two lights still illuminating the scene. Another maintenance tunnel was barely visible on the other side of the room, and a strange crunching noise could be heard coming from it. The panel marking the maintenance tunnel’s entrance was bent outwards significantly, as if something or someone was trying to break through it.

Cadet Jordy Kleine - Security

As Jordy approached the tunnel, the entrance panel bowed towards him, and with a final CRRRCH, toppled onto the floor. Within a few moments, around twenty small, furry creatures followed the panel, toppling onto the floor around Jordy. A few shadows could be very faintly seen further into the tunnel, but some sort of light would be necessary to see further. A few of the already-visible creatures had chunks of metal clutched in what could be mouths, some of which could be useable.

Henry responded to Jordy’s message, =^= Loud and clear, Cadet. Stay safe. =^=

=^= On my way, Kleine, but I’m a few rooms from you. Try to get it under control, see if there’s any way to hold them off. =^= Henry started moving in Jordy’s direction, taking care not to trip over any of the debris in the maintenance closet he was in.

The creatures continued spilling out of the vent, now up to about 30. One of the chunks of metal blinked with some sort of light; another made a strange low-pitched beeping sound. The creatures seemed to keep some distance from the sound.

Jordy tries to keep a distance from the creatures but close enough to see them all and waits for Henry.
