Aaron was coming back from the Lounge. The promotion was over, and he walked toward his quarters, a little box in the hand. He opened the hatch and enters the room. While the light starts to illuminates the room, he sat on his bed and opened the box he was holding, which revealed a pair of pins, one black and the other golden, both shining at the light coming from the ceiling.

Lieutenant Jr., he thought. And already chief of a department. Man, what an evening! The young lieutenant put his brand new pins to his uniform collar, stood up, and goes in front of his bathrooms mirror. He looked at the mirror and saw a tired man with messy hair. Looks like I’m asleep on my feet, he thought with a smile. The reflect smiled back at him, giving him a friendly face. Not bad. Much better

Aaron gets out of his bathroom, sat on his desk chair, and boot up his terminal. After he identifies himself, he decides to open Starfleet Academy Archives and open the Scientific Officer folder. He starts to open the documents and to reads them one by one. Since I’ve been assigned as a Chief Science Officer, I have to catch up. Let’s start with the basics. The former doctor opened the first document, which talks about astrophysics. Gosh… This is on another level, he desperately thought.
And so began his first night as an Officer

OOC: Since the Challenger is a bit quiet, I wanted to make a personal post to let Aaron begin his journey as a Lieutenant and to catch up on his lack of knowledge in Science. If anyone wants to join, feel free to do so!
