Cadet’s log star date 99084.97

This cadet arrived safely and boarded on the USS Challenger, the training ship before hitting the fleet. This ship has 13 decks and he was a little bit overwhelmed. He reported to the DH and met the CSO. This week he had:

10k ruck

42 pull ups

5 hours of aerobics

1.5 hours of phaser training

Academics were processing. He reviewed the history and the past cases of star fleet encounters, and the ship techs. The theoretic information were eye closing.

(OOC: The strawberry Moon from the observation deck was awesome!)

He was expected to graduate in 3 to 4 months. He was pleased to know that all he’ve done in the past years were almost into fruition.

Supplemental: 1 hour of hand to hand. 0.45 hour of spiritual fitness module. Chap Faithful talked about facing the death with peace. With an additional question of the reason we joined the star fleet. This cadet was here for professional development.

This cadet had his 2nd week done. With 4.5 hours of Aerobics and 2 hours of hand to hand. The question given for the week from the history course was the meaning of being an explorer. He had reviewed the historical officers with diverse ethnicities on the bridge. He thought to be an explorer on the starship, he has to enforce the general orders, particularly the Prime Directive. He also reviewed the science course from top to bottom and prepared to answer the questions to the best of his ability. The Captain has ordered not to use the cargo bay at this time. He was uncertain of which. This ship has 2 cargo bays, perhaps it’s the main one. This cadet’s sensed something was happening. He speculated if that’s the case, the intent could be sealing the ship.

This cadet found some materials that maybe helpful in his off duty time. The topics were from outer space travel to biology.

1 hour aerobics, 1 hour ruck, and 1 hour hand to hand. During the hand to hand session, I encountered a simulated scenario. The objective was to defend a place. There’re 2 visitors (non-human species) with a child. The child somehow managed to cross the line I was in charge of. I tried to use voice and translator to order it to go away, but it didn’t comply. It’s either too young to understand or it was exhausted. I saw it’s breathing fast and almost pass out unless I say something to it. I offered if it stayed still I’d bring some water. After I back, something happened, and I had to ready my phaser into stun mode. I shot 3 times then one of them got away, the other stood still. It’s a typical fight or flight scene. I had to fire 3 additional to get the last one off the line. It reminded me of a PKO case in the early 21st century, where all the blocks came together in just minutes. Fortunately no casualties in my case. But I had to sterilize myself in case if that child carried infectious bacteria.

Speaking of that, it seemed this ship was undergoing a refugee evac mission.
