Connor walked to the sickbay with a spring in step. He was eager to study the ship’s systems before his first shift and the quicker he finished his onboarding process, the more time he would have to do so. Turning into the Medbay he stood at attention, calling out “Cadet Connor Washburne, reporting to medical.” At no one in particular, hoping that someone would assist him. While waiting he observed the doctors. Connor had little to no medical knowledge, however the urgency with which they moved and how they worked was similar enough to engineers that he had a deep respect for them. That and they we’re usually more down to Earth than the scientists or security officers. Though I suppose it makes sense not being down to Earth when you’re traversing space. Connor thought.

Aaron was checking the stocks when a man enters the room, and declaim the classic sentence every cadet says when arriving aboard. A reporting in, uh ?, he thought with a smile, remembering his first arrival at Sickbay.
According to the Cadet uniform, he was an Engineer, even though he looked like a Security member. Maybe it’s because of the way he shaved his head and his height.

The doctor then began to search for any engineer cadet who recently arrived aboard the ship. The computer quickly shows him a profile : Cadet Connor Washburne. 22 years old, like me…Well, let’s go! He then disconnects from the terminal and approaches the engineer.

Standing in front of him, the doctors say: “Hi! I’m Cadet Williams. You’re here for your medical exam, are you ?”

Connor stood at ease a little once he realized that he would be interacting with another cadet rather than an officer. “Yes I am, Cadet Washburne, nice to meet you.” He said as he extended his hand for the doctor to shake. “Are you the doctor who will be conducting my exam?” The engineer observed the doctor in front of him. He appeared to be a human roughly the same age as Connor, and it was safe to assume he was quite intelligent if he was serving aboard the Challenger so early in his career. Perhaps a kindred spirit. If so it’s a shame he choose the medical field, Lord knows we could use more good engineers in Starfleet. he thought.

Aaron replied: “Indeed, I’m the one who will make and valid your medical exam. And you can call me Aaron since we are both Cadets. Follow me.” He began to walk toward a biobed, and launch the bed routine on a screen.

” Please “, he said, inviting Washburne to sat on the bed. “No need to take off your clothes.”

OOC: Hey, I forgot to introduce myself! So, my name is Adrien Jouve, the one playing Aaron, and I’ve been active for 3 months. I really like your post and the way you write, but I would like to give you some advice when writing: 1. It’s better to go to start a new line frequently for better reading. 2. Do not hesitate to leave a line break between your actions, so people could react easily. For example, between the moment Aaron walks toward the bed and the one when he invites Connor to sit, you can react in-between if you want. For more example, you can look at the Main Sim - Sickbay post, where I do that with another person.
