T’Saie gazed at Cadet Williams, raising an eyebrow. Shouldn’t a cadet know how a Biobed works by now she wondered, genuinely curious. “No..” she spoke, giving out a small sigh. “The biobed can scan through items of clothing,” she responded politely, yet somewhat coldly.

As the cadet laid on the Biobed, she began tapping away at the console attached to the bed, performing a full scan. This only took about ten seconds, “You may sit up now.” she instructed, transferring information from the bed into Williams’ medical record.

Aaron felt kind of ashamed. Why did I ask? Of course, it’s a Biobed, why didn’t I noticed? Damn!

He set up, looking at the Lieutenant transferring his data. Focus, he thought for himself. This is where I have to shine. If I don’t make a good impression, I won’t be able to prove that I’m a good doctor.

After he steps down from the bed, he put himself at ease, almost militarily. He put aside his thoughts, and prepared himself, ready to answer any question, and remembering all the lessons he learns on Earth. His expression changed, as he was determined to be accepted as a medic on Starfleet.
Ready or not, here it comes!

Cadet Aaron Williams

PaDD in hand T’Saie gestured for the cadet to join her in her office, “This isn’t a test, cadet. It’s a placement.” she stated unemotionally. As she moved towards the office, T’Saie pondered whether an earlier visit to the counsellor may benefit the cadet considerably as she wasn’t particularly apt at dealing with the unpredictable emotions of the other races.

As she arrived in her office, she took a seat without taking her eyes off the PaDD, quickly mulling over the details of the scan to ensure everything was in-order..
