Aaron was walking through the corridors of the Challengers, searching for the Sickbay. My future workplace, I guess, he thought with a smile, as he was asking to cadet the location of his meeting. Some noticed that he was a future doctor, and some chatted with him, about his origin, or his studies.
After meeting people and walking for quite a time, the Cadet arrives at the Sickbay. The doors opened as he arrived, but no one was in.
They haven’t arrived yet? Well, I’ll just wait in a corner.
While he was waiting, he tried to remember the procedure for the physical exam, worrying about the fact that he is a Medical Cadet. Maybe they will ask me questions to test me? No, that’s not the point of the exam. But as a future doctor, they could test my knowledge…
Aaron looked around him and saw a lot of medical equipment. Some looked familiar to his eyes, while other was totally new to him : Is that an oven ?
And he kept looking around, wondering about his future career at Starfleet.

Cadet Aaron Williams

OOC: Excellent first post! You described your character well throughout this post. My only two recommendations is to ensure your spelling is accurate, right click anything underlined in red and press the one that looks right or get Grammarly, and if you’re going to write in paragraphs, add another space between your lines so it’s a bit easier to follow. Good work though!

IC: T’Saie swiftly meandered back through the doors of Sickbay after returning from an ‘in-house visit,’ to her surprise there was a cadet standing in the corner of the room. “Come with me.” she instructed, diverting her stride from her office towards one of the beds without stopping, aiming to not waste any time.

Once she arrived at the bed she gestured for the cadet to take a seat, her eyes fixated on the PaDD she held..

While the woman looked at her PaDD, Aaron checked his uniform the last time and put back his glasses. He then sat on the bed and quickly looked at the collar of the woman’s uniform. According to her rank insignia, she was a Lieutenant…No a Lieutenant Junior. One of her rank pins was black. I thought she was Cadet or an Enseign at last. Gotta be careful with what I say.

The woman was a little bit shorter than him, with brown hair, and looked a bit Asian. He noticed that she also has pointed ears, making the guess that she is Vulcan. I think one of the cadets said that the Medical chief was a Vulcan. Or was he talking about the Chief engineer? I don’t remember….

As the Lieutenant Jr. turned around, laying down her pad, he straightens up on his bed, waiting for eventual orders.

T’Saie’s eyes didn’t deviate from the PaDD she held, “Welcome to Challenger, Cadet.. Williams” she began, clearly implying she had the cadet’s file in front of her, “I am Lieutenant T’Saie, the Chief Medical Officer on Challenger and your department head,” she stated, clearing any future questions regarding her position.

Finally she moved her eyes to the cadet, “How are you feeling today?” she quizzed, yet another attempt at working on her ‘people skills,’ sometimes a difficult topic for Vulcans..

Aaron hesitates for a second: “I’m in a good mood … I-I mean everything is okay, Sir ! … um, Ma’am! ” Keep calm, dammit !, he thought, nervously. Having his future chief right in front of him was making him anxious. He tried to slow down his breath, as stress-relief, which work.

He corrects himself: “I’m all clear, Ma’am. I took my temperature and blood pressure… this morning, and have founded nothing in special. The main problem was an Andorian virus that I caught up a month ago. I had recover thought, but my immune system is still weak, so I made surveillance, started from a week. I could transfer all that data to your personal computer, Ma’am. If you need it. A-and with your permission, of course!”

T’Saie paused for a good second, observing the cadet as they were clearly nervous. “There’s no need for panic, Cadet.” she gently proclaimed, “We are here to help you progress, not judge your every move.” she promised, attempting to help the cadet calm down slightly.

Holding the cadets previous medical history in her PaDD she responded, “I’m aware, thank you for the offer,” indicating that she had their records in front of her. “Your examination will be quick, please lie down” she requested, gesturing for the cadet to lie down on the BioBed they were sat on as she moved to the attached bed monitor.

As he lied down on the bed, Aaron felt a little less stressed. She is way more gentle than the other Vulcan, and she is right, he thought. I don’t need to panic so much. I’m a grown man, and that’s why I’m here.

I can already hear my mom: “You shouldn’t stress, they won’t eat you. You’re a doctor now, and people count on you! Your father would be proud of you, as much as I am…”
I wonder what he would think about me right now. I miss him.

Lost in his mind, thinking of his home and his future, he suddenly reminds of the exam when Lieutenant T’saie coughs a little, waiting for him: “Yes! Uh… Should I take off my clothes, Ma’am? Or at least my glasses?”

OOC: One small thing to remember, try not to RP other characters actions. Excellent post though!

IC:
T’Saie gazed at Cadet Williams, raising an eyebrow. Shouldn’t a cadet know how a Biobed works by now she wondered, genuinely curious. “No..” she spoke, giving out a small sigh. “The biobed can scan through items of clothing,” she responded politely, yet somewhat coldly.

As the cadet laid on the Biobed, she began tapping away at the console attached to the bed, performing a full scan. This only took about ten seconds, “You may sit up now.” she instructed, transferring information from the bed into Williams’ medical record.
