NE WantsToGolf wandered into the holodeck, lost in thought about which of the old Earth PGA Championship golf courses that she wanted to pull up today. It had been a boring day on shift and she was excited to see if she could beat her previous score of over 9000. Lost in her thoughts, she didn’t see the small form of a tribble laying in the middle of the room and, soon, she went flying through the air, landing in her own heap off to the side. Thankfully, her head didn’t hit the holodeck floor, but her ankle was bent at an awkward angle as she tapped on her comm badge:

Lieutenant Kyle Anders was walking past the holodeck while the arch was still open, he saw the tribble on the floor and arched an eyebrow. “=/\= Anders to Security, do me a favour? Make a scan of Deck 5, I swear I just saw a tribble on Holodeck 1, do it on the way down here, we may have to rangle these things =/\=.”

”=/\= Aye, sir =/\=” Henry replied, jogging from his post to the nearby turbolift. Hmm he thought. Might need some help. But with no other security officers on his deck, the Cadet instead contemplated the security closet next to the turbolift. After a moment, he shook his head, remembering what he was taught in the Academy. Phasers are a last resort, not an alternative method.

Entering the turbolift, Henry said “Deck 5,” and moments later the doors opened. Stepping out, eyes darting around, he moved towards the Holodeck, unsure of what exactly he was looking for. Tribbles weren’t a common occurrence, or even one he’d been trained for.
