Noah liked sickbays. There was something innately pleasing about how they worked, the union between sapient life and the machinery they had created which in turn could help sustain that life. As an engineer he’d always be first to respond to technical problems on medical equipment; you knew you were doing something that could later help save someone’s life. He’d even thought of being a doctor or nurse once, until he’d learnt that he often felt faint at the sight of blood.

Approaching the first person he saw that worked in sickbay he waved a friendly hello. “Hi, I’m Noah. I just arrived, apparently I need to do a medical check in?”

OOC: Hi, and welcome to the Challenger! I’m Anna, and I’ll be doing your medical check-in. I’m still a Cadet, and pretty new to STF myself, but hopefully I can help you get started! Your DH and our ship councilor will help you learn the ins and outs of STF, but if you have any questions please feel free to ask!
Your first post was really well done, you gave lots of great insight into Noah with just a couple of lines!
Currently, I’m writing Out Of Character (OOC), which I’m showing by putting an “OOC:” at the front of my text. Below, I’ll post my In Character text using “IC:”.
Just one thing to point out, I know it’s easy to forget, but it’s important to sign your posts after posting them. It helps everybody keep track of who said what.

Another new cadet? thought Carmen. She had already finished two medical check-ins that morning, not that she really minded. She liked meeting new people, and being in sickbay meant that she met most everyone who came to the ship. “Hi, Noah! I’m Carmen, and I can help get your check-in started.” she said with a smile. “Just come this way,” she said, leading him over to a bio-bed. “Please, sit down.” she said, before grabbing a PADD and pulling up a medical file. While she was getting it all set up, she looked over at the cadet. “How are you doing today?”
