Max was feeling more comfortable on the ship since his arrival. His mind had been put at ease with this big transition after meeting his new CMO. Still, he was reminded that he had thus far neglected an essential part of his check-in; meeting with the ship’s counselor. He carried a PADD in his left hand containing his full background and his meager service record to date. Though not exactly a fan of having people dig into his mind, Max also saw great value in self-reflection and the importance of having a therapeutic presence on a ship like this. At least, that was what he would keep reminding himself to put his mind at ease as he approached the Counselor’s door, pressing the button and hearing the chirp to announce his arrival. Upon being granted entry he entered confidently and stood at attention before speaking.

“Sir, Cadet Woolley reporting for check-in evaluation.”
