Rodier dodged for cover in a small enclave in the nearby wall. Hearing the shots continue, he hopped out of cover, firing on the few remaining pirates ahead of him. With Anders now way ahead of him, the Cadet dropped his rifle to one hand at his side, sprinting forward and visually scanning the area for crew members.

Kyle found two badly injured holographic crewmen and used a modified combadge to tag them for transport, tapping his own combadge to initiate the process. (OOC: Sorry! I forgot to add in that I gave you those as well.) Anders looked over his shoulder to find Rodier working his way towards him up the corridor, Damn, he’s impressive. Hell of a shot, Anders thought to himself, before continuing his run of the passage.

With his DH continuing his run down the passage, Henry realized his only chance of winning was strategy. So, ducking into the closest room, he discovered a holographic crewman and woman hiding, awaiting rescue. “Follow me” he said, and the crewmates followed him out the door. I’ll be damned if I don’t at least give him a fair fight he thought. Sprinting again, he approached a turn in the passage. (OOC: Correct me if I’m supposed to mark all of them for extraction, but I assume that’s just for those with serious injuries.)

Kyle stepped into a holographic mock-up of the Engineering section, but faltered when he realised the entire section was blocked by a portable shield generator, Damn, he thought to himself, I need to start making notes on what I build into these programs. He tapped his combadge, “=/\= Anders to Rodier, we may have to put our differences aside for now, the holos have locked me out of Engineering. If you can find a way in, we might be able to beam the pirates off the ship. I’ll sweep some of the upper decks, Anders out=/\=.”

Tapping his badge, Henry responded “Aye, sir.” Taking a right out of the side room, he jogged down to the curve where he’d lost sight of Lieutenant Anders. Seeing what appeared to be the entrance to Engineering, he turned around, looking for any sort of hallway or door he may have missed. With little else in sight, Rodier tried a door. Finding it locked, he levelled his phaser at the handle. This better not be some kind of trick he thought, though he had the strange sense it wasn’t.

Kyle further sweeped his way up towards Sickbay, tagging critically injured officers for emergency medical transport. As he cleared the corridor outside Sickbay, he didn’t notice one of the pirates had placed a small plasma charge at the base of one of the wall panels. It exploded, sending debris flying everywhere and leaving several cables exposed, Kyle knew the safeties were active, so didn’t feel any pain from impacting the floor, it took him a few seconds to realise however, that several pieces of rubble had landed on top of him.
