How do we work our way up the ranks? I am am eager Cadet who would love to know

Hey there, I’m Kieron, I play Lt. JG. Kyle Anders, your Chief of Security. It tends to depend on what the Captain of the ship you are assigned to needs at any given time, like for example, I was promoted to Security chief because our old one was being transferred to another ship. You never know, that could be you one day.

A couple of things, First, it is generally considered a best practice to start off the topic with OOC if it is an OOC question (I updated the topic to reflect this) second the player handbook is a good place to start for most questions and there is even a chapter on ranks.
