After Lanna’s first duty with the Department Head, She started to feel ill and reported to sickbay of the symptoms of dizziness, distortion, and about to pass out. She feels like she needs to check in with the ship’s Counsellors. She thinks she was feeling overwhelmed, nervous, and homesick from leaving home to being overwhelmed on the first duty of the job.

The door swished open to a large seating area filled by an L-shaped sectional sofa upholstered in a light blue, offset by a darker shade on the wall behind it. Over the couch was a painting of a human couple - a man in a tuxedo and a barefoot woman in a red evening gown - dancing on a wet beach, a butler and a maid nearby holding umbrella’s as they held their headgear to their heads against the invisible wind. A side table sat at each end of the sofa, and a dark-haired human woman in a medical-blue uniform was watering a white daisy in a red vase on one of them.

“Hello,” she called in greeting, a bright smile on her face. She tipped the watering can back and carried it to a desk across the room. “I’m Lieutenant Commander Lofton, the ship’s counselor,” she continued, approaching the obviously nervous cadet, hand extended. “Please, have a seat, make yourself comfortable. Would you like something to drink?” She gestured to the replicator nearby. “I have my own hot chocolate recipe,” she grinned, “and it’s amazing if I do say so myself.”
