Eric arrived at Challenger’s main shuttle bay, and headed over to one of the two runabouts. He opened the door and did a quick inventory of the storage areas, ensuring the necessary kits, tricorders and phasers were properly stored. Seeing nothing untoward, Eric headed to the control system and began the preflight sequence while he waited for the cadets to arrive.

Tiernan perked up as soon as he heard his name called. An away mission. With a quickening heart and a grin, he did just as he was commanded and soon set off to the shuttle bay, medical gear in tow. Upon arrival, he spotted Commander Holmman already waiting for himself and the other cadets.

“Commander,” Tiernan’s friendly Irish lilt came with an equally friendly nod. “Cadet Casey, reporting.”

OOC: I’m going to fix the split thread. This sometimes happens when a reply is accidentally made to a post that isn’t the most recent post on a thread. Here’s how I’m going to fix it so you and other cadets can see. Basically, I’m going to copy-paste the new content in this split into the other split. Sometimes you’ll have to figure out where the content should be pasted in the other split, but in this case it is easy since it is just one post in each split.

So the in-character stuff will continue in other main part of the thread.
