After the events of the previous investigation, the crew of the Challenger began their trek back to Sol once more, coasting along at an appropriate warp speed.

After a days however, there was a shudder forcing the challenger to drop out of warp. It wasn’t so rough as to break up the ship mind you, but there was a collision and it forced the ship to drop. When the dust settled, if you will, the challenger was nose to nose with another ship of unusual build. Quick scans and observations were nothing like any of the crew had ever seen before in their life.
