“Doctor Mika, you’re needed in exam bay one,” Sera approached, “I can finish the Cadet’s physical for you, I presume that’s alright by you Cadet?” She smiled kindly at Bijou.

“Greetings,” Ari’s voice happily crackled between high, and low notes like a fire. “By all means, go ahead. My tachycardia medicine could do with a refill, Doctor.”

“I can definitely help with that Cadet,” Sera grinned, “If you want to pick an empty bio bed, I’ll just grab my tricorder and we’ll get started, alright?”

Ari picks the bed nearest the door.
He then looks over at the door, before looking back at Sera, smiling toothily.
He thinks, “This won’t take long. Soon enough, I’ll be off working, or enjoying a break.”
Ari was never comfortable with medical doctors and nurses, and originally wasn’t so with psychiatric professionals either.
