Dr. Mai Hart somehow manages to climb onto a patient bed without his step-stool, causing a witness to laugh. One might notice comparing it to the others that it was lowered to get up.
He smiles, proud of himself, “Did my step-stool arrive yet? How about my longer-ranged tricorcer? I was told they were made today, but they didn’t say if they’d be in sickbay by time I got here.”

“Not sure, French!?” Sera called, a Human woman appearing, “This is Head Nurse NE French, she handles the supplies,” she offered by way of an explanation, “Doctor Hart is looking for his step-stool and longer-ranged tricorder, can you see that they’ve arrived?”

“Yes ma’am,” French nodded, “I believe they have doctor, I’ll go find those while Dr. Walsh completes your boarding physical.” The nurse dashed off to part unknown.

“Now,” Sera opened her own tricorder, “Let’s see, have you noticed any chances to your health since your last physical?”

“No. I’m fine.”
Dr. Hart examines his fingernails. “Could do with a manicure, though, next time I’m off duty.” Then, he looks at his shoes, thinking further about it. “Maybe a pedicure, too. I’ll go to town in self-care after work hours. My dad got me some new men’s brand of care products he insisted is great, and it simply isn’t as good as home made. Think I’ll just recycle the rest of it, and make some new body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.” He runs his hand through his curls.
