To celebrate his promotion to Chief of Security, Lieutenant Junior Grade Kyle Anders decided to treat himself to an evening of relaxing jazz and a good strong drink. Approaching the holodeck console, Anders loosened his collar slightly and tapped the console: “Computer, run program Anders Sigma 6.” The computer trilled excitedly and replied: “Program running, enter when ready.” Kyle entered to the familiar musty smell of mixing alcohol and the glow of clean brass coming from the other end of the room. After offering a warm smile to Zee, the Bolian barkeep, he sat down in the centre seat in a relaxed position and tapped along to the jazz playing from the stage.

Rainns walked into the holodeck, it was his last night on Challenger, and he was making his rounds about the ship, he heard the music from the holodeck and saw who was in it as he passed by and decided to step in for a moment. “Congratulations chief.” he said with a smile, entering the holodeck.

Kyle wheeled round and gave a wide, ear to ear smile, “I should be the one congratulating you Lieutenant,” he said warmly, “From what I hear, the Arkangel is one hell of a ship,” Anders gestured for Rainns to join him at the table.
