Sera finished with her last patient with a smile, sending the no longer injured cadet back to work. He’d sprained his wrist, painful for him, relatively a quicker fix for her.

She noticed the cadet off to the side, she had a feeling this one was one of hers, it was the reason she accepted this job, to train the next batch of medical cadets, “You waved Cadet?” She smiled kindly.

“Yeah, I need my medical exam, and to report for duty,” Dr. Hart said in a high voice while he approached his superior. “As for medical, I think I’m fine. But, then, Kinetslypur Virus, among other illnesses, seems that way at first. I apologize. I’m joking. I was reading about Kinetslypur Virus this morning. I have not been exposed to it.”
