Aramis Bijou is thin; and fit with a bob of brown braids over brown skin; his eyes dark, narrow, and tilted a bit; his face square with a square jaw; and, with high cheekbones.
Ari, as he prefers to be called, named after one of his favorite past singers, is but five feet tall.
He walks up to the counselor’s office door, and presses a button to sound a chime for anyone inside.
Waiting outside the door feels him with an excited nervousness at meeting the counselor.
He starts to remember fondly his psychiatric-professioned mothers.
“Please, be great,” his voice warmly crackles between high, and low notes as he thinks out loud smiling.

The doors parted to a large seating area, filled with an L-shaped sectional sofa, upholstered in light blue. The carpeting complemented it in a lighter shade, while not blending in. Over the couch hung a painting of a couple in formal wear - the woman wearing a red dress, and the man a tuxedo - dancing on the beach with two attendants holding umbrellas. The air was filled with a light scent of jasmine, with a hint of mint.

A dark haired woman in a Starfleet uniform adorned with medical blue on the shoulders stood in the middle of the room, carrying a vase the same shade as the painting’s red dress, with white daisies sprouting from the top. “Cadet Bijou!” she called, a wide smile spreading across her face. “Please come in. I was just moving this vase, trying to balance the color a little.”

There was an end table at each arm of the sectional; she placed it on the table on the short end of the sectional and took a few steps back.

“What do you think?” She pursed her lips, cupping her chin with her hand.

OOC: Hi Jeannette! In this thread we’re going to develop your character, get into their backstory and their motivations. You have a great bio started, and hopefully we’ll be able to add to it a little here. I look forward to writing with you!
